David Frederick … I was raised in a Pentecostal home and have had the privilege of being introduced to Jesus Christ by great and godly parents. My mother has gone on to be with the Lord and I have the privilege of my father attending the church I now pastor. My family attended Silverhill Pentecostal Church in Rockford, Illinois under two great pastors, Rev. V. V. Haggard and Rev Robert Bailey. We also attended Sis Nichols church for a short time and my life was impacted by another great lady of God. In the late 80’s I began attending Firstborn Ministries under Rev. Wendell Maynard and he has been my Pastor/Mentor since that time. I served as one of his Staff Pastors for five years. It was in 1989 I married a wonderful lady, Theresa. She has been by my side through many mountain tops and many valley experiences. My passion has been for several years the quest of winning lost souls and she has been by my side. I have worked in several capacities in startup churches. I had the opportunity to serve under my Father-in-law, Rev. Larry Beardsley and was involved in helping him start two different Home Missions churches. My Father-in-law has planted two churches; one in Murphysboro, Il and Phenix City, Al. I believe my passion for starting churches was birthed while working with Pastor Beardsley. We started a church in Carbondale, Il. And worked with the SIU campus ministry. We later merged the church with the Murphysboro church and I served as Assistant under Rev. Steve Pyles. My wife and I later started an inner city church in Columbus, Ga. The Lord blessed with a wonderful church building. The church is still going today. Around 2005, we moved back to northern Illinois. I worked with my Brother-in laws: Rev. Joe Beardsley and Rev. Jason Beardsley in the thriving Crystal lake United Pentecostal Church. This brings us to the present. We now pastor at Apostolic Pentecostals of Rockford. We are an inner city Mission/Church. We are ministering to lives that have been battered by life…homelessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, prostitution, etc. It is a wonderful ministry to be involved in.
